Simon Bassett, a Partner based at
Marshall & Galpin’s Abingdon office, has recently taken part as a guest
presenter in a training video produced by the College of Law. The video is
aimed at assisting solicitors throughout England & Wales to develop their
skills when dealing with personal injury claims arising from road traffic
accidents involving uninsured or untraced drivers. It will be distributed to
over 5000 law firms.
If you are involved in a road traffic accident and the other driver is
uninsured or untraced you may be entitled to compensation from the Motor
Insurers’ Bureau (the MIB), based in Milton Keynes. Pursuing claims through
the MIB is fraught with difficulties and we would always recommend that you
take specialist legal advice as soon as you are able.
Simon is a national committee member of the Motor Accidents Solicitors
Society (MASS) and is chair of the MIB working party.
