Ian Carrier
|
Ian qualified as a solicitor in 1994 after training at Marshall & Galpin. He
became a partner in 2004 and is head of the personal injury team.
He is a member of APIL (Association of Personal Injury Lawyers); OMLS (Oxford
Medico-Legal Society) and MASS (Motor Accidents Solicitors' Society).
Ian has a wealth of experience in dealing with all types of personal injury
claims, including workplace accidents, road traffic accidents, occupiers
liability and industrial disease claims. He has particular expertise in
dealing with severely injured claimants and fatality claims.
He has given seminars to various organisations including the Citizens Advice
Bureau and Thames Valley Police and has been interviewed on BBC radio. He
organises the firm's voluntary work through Oxford Citizens Advice Bureau.

Stephen Woods
|
Stephen qualified as a solicitor in 1982. He joined Marshall & Galpin in 1984
and became a partner in 1988.
Stephen has 25 years of specialist experience of both civil and commercial
litigation and has previously headed both this department. His particular
areas of expertise are Personal Injury, Litigation and Contentious Probate.
Stephen is the joint managing partner of Marshall & Galpin.
Stephen is based in the firm’s Oxford office.

Louise Huckstep
|
After training in a London firm, Louise qualified in 1989 and continued
practising in London until she joined Marshall & Galpin in 1993.
Louise specialises in personal injury claims, including workplace accidents
and road traffic accidents. She is a member APIL (Association of Personal
Injury Lawyers) and Oxford Medico-Legal Society.
Louise is based in the firm’s Oxford office.

Richard Coleman
|
Richard qualified as a solicitor in 1997. He joined Marshall & Galpin in 2004
and became a partner in 2007.
Richard specialises in clinical negligence claims and is one of only a few
solicitors to be on the Law Society’s Specialist Panels for both Clinical
Negligence and Personal Injury as well as Action Against Medical Accidents’ (AvMA)
Specialist Clinical Negligence Panel.
Richard holds Litigator status at APIL (Association of Personal Injury
Lawyers) and is on the approved Personal Injury Solicitors List for Headway –
The Brain Injury Association.
He has a broad range of expertise gained across all areas of medicine and
deals with cases of all values from small to maximum severity. Richard is the
Treasurer of the Oxford Medico-Legal Society.
